There has been a great take up in the bridge lessons every tuesday night at the centre. Our thanks to the wonderful group of teachers who do this on a voluntary basis, week in, week out. They are Deirdre Ormonde,Marie Cotter, Anne O’Reilly and Ann Darmody.
The winners of the Tipperary County Pairs, which was held at the centre on Nov. 2nd, were Bobby Ryan and Frank Kelly. Congratulations to Carol Moore and Piotr Lisiak who were first in the Intermediate section of The North Munster Shield.
At the moment all the clubs are playing for turkeys and Christmas prizes in their various clubs and the centre is looking very festive after the decorations were put up last saturday by a group of volunteers who kindly gave up their saturday afternoon on Dec. 1st.
The Christmas parties will kick off during the week before Christmas.

Monday morning bridge continues every week from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon.
We are grateful to Stephen O’Leary, who opens the room every Monday and to Deirdre Ormonde and Marie Cotter for being there to help and advise. Everyone is welcome to this session, whether a member of the centre or not, and after Christmas all the people who began in September will practice their new found skills there!
