Advent Devotions: Morning Prayer each day at 10am Mass.
S.V.P. National Appeal today. Be as generous as your circumstances allow. Last Sunday at our Masses, Deirdre, Claire and Tom outlined the work of St. Mary’s Conference. We thank the Conference in St. Mary’s for the tremendous work they do and the hope, consolation and relief they bring to so many people.
Safe-Guarding Meeting: There will be a Safe Guarding Meeting on Wednesday 12th December after the 7pm Mass for all Ministers of the Eucharist and Ministers of the Word. We hope to see you all there.
Bake Sale: There will be a Bake Sale on Sunday 9th December in the Parish Hall opposite the Church after the Sunday Masses to raise funds for the Bell Tower, Dome and Cross. Your support would be greatly appreciated. If anyone who has baked for the event, please could you drop the cakes into the Parish Hall from 6pm to 7pm. Raffle tickets will be available to buy at the Bake Sale and in the Parish Office after the sale.
Prepare for Christmas through Advent: Sr. Teresa Walsh, Presentation Convent is running four nights during the Advent Season in preparation for Christmas. Each night will comprise a reflection on the Sunday Gospel, a discussion on same and some prayer. Consider it as a retreat spread over four weeks, one night a week. We would love to see a good turn out. It will be held in the Pastoral Centre continuing on Thursday 13th and 20th December from 7.30pm to 8.30pm. All welcome.
St Mary’s Parish have an upcoming vacancy on their Community Employment scheme for a Parish Secretary with good IT skills.
