PARISH INFORMATION
Confessions: Every Sat from 12pm to 1pm and 7pm to 7.30pm
Ministry to the Sick/ Nursing Homes : Mass at Melview Nursing Home. Sacrament of anointing of the sick on request. Sacrament of Holy Communion every First Friday.
Sacrament of Baptism: 5pm on the First Saturday of the month in Ss. Peter & Pauls and on the third Saturday in the Resurrection.
Sacrament of Marriage: Consult with one of the Priests to secure a date. Church and State Require at least 3 months notice.
Pre-Marriage Course: It is strongly recommended to partake in a Pre-marriage course organised by ACCORD (Catholic Marriage Advisory Council) for bookings and information contact 052 61 24144.

SS Peter and Pauls offers a Bereavement Support Service that is free of charge and provided by a trained Bereavement Support Group from the Parish.

Active Retirement: Next meeting will resume on the 17th January. Happy Xmas to all our Members.

Monthly Medugorje Mass: The monthly Medugorje Mass will continue at Holy Family Mission, Glencomeragh, Kilsheelan on Thursday night next the 13th December beginning with Rosary at 8 p.m. followed by Holy Mass,
Adoration and Prayers for Healing. All welcome.

Coeliac Condition: Low-gluten hosts are available from the main celebrant. The hosts will be in a separate part of the ciborium.

Anam Cara Tipperary, the organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding a Parent Evening on Monday 17th of December at 7:20pm in the Horse & Jockey Hotel, Thurles, Co. Tipperary. This event is free and open to all bereaved parents regardless of the age your child died, the circumstances of their death, or whether their death was recent or not.

A Christmas Remembrance List for the Christmas Newsletter is available in the Parish Shop. Please feel free to add the names of your deceased loved ones.

Irish Catholic Bishops online interactive Advent Calendar for 2018 will go live on this Sunday 2nd December – the First Sunday of Advent. The calendar is offered as a resource to parishes, schools and homes. It will feature prayers, daily acts of kindness, information on the season of Advent as well as daily reflections, thought for the day pieces and the words of Pope Francis. They kindly invite you to live Advent this year using our resources. www.catholicbishops.ie

Lightfever involves Eucharistic adoration, the sacrament of reconciliation, scripture, prayer ministry, music ministry, street evangelization with a candlelit church. The next two events in Waterford will be at the Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity on Saturday 22nd and Saturday 29th December from 1pm to 5pm.

Whist on Sunday 9th December @ 2.30pm in the bridge centre Clonmel. All players welcome.

Second Sunday of Advent

POINSETTIAS & CALENDARS
Orders are now closed for the Poinsettias but Calendars are still available. All proceeds from the Poinsettias and Calendars will go towards the installation of Parish TV which will allow Masses, Funerals, Weddings etc to be viewed from anywhere in the World. This is a project by the John Paul II Students.
Donation envelopes are still available.

THIS WEEKEND
Our 6th Class students from the Sisters of Charity will be at the 7.30pm Mass and will begin the Jesse Tree story. At the 11am Mass, our 2nd Class students will be continuing their First Penance and First Holy Communion preparations.
Please remember all of them in your prayers at this time.
