Wedding Bells: Congratulations to Liz O’Shea and Shane O’Driscoll who tied the know in Kilsheelan last Wednesday. Congratulations also to Owen Lynch and Michelle Channon who were married in Kilcash this Friday. We wish both couples many years of married happiness and togetherness.
Class Re-Union: The Leaving Cert Class of 1961 of Cistercian College Roscrea met last Saturday. It was great to meet all the lads again. Sadly many had passed to their eternal reward. The Class of ‘61 are scattered all over the world, but many travelled back for the occasion. That year (1961) four of the class entered the monastery. All four were present on Saturday. Only one of the four continued on in the priesthood. One became a cardiac surgeon in San Francisco. Another a teacher and author of children’s books in Co. Offaly, the other, worked as an executive with the E.E.C. In Geneva.
Parish Office: The Parish Office will be closed from Friday 29th July until Friday 12th August. If you have any notices or anniversaries for the Newsletter for those two weeks, please can you let Maria have them before Tuesday 26th July. Many thanks.
Lost; A visitor lost an earring aid in the Church last Friday at a wedding. If anyone saw it please can you let Eddie or Maria know please.
