St Pio Prayer Group meet on the first Monday of each month and will meet this Monday,6th June in St. Marys, Irishtown. Rosary at 6.30pm with Mass at 7pm for all petitions in the basket on the altar.

parishioners and visitors who have donated €372,025 towards the renovation of our church which cost €875,000. Balance to pay: €127,975.

Mass at Melview Nursing Home
Sacrament of anointing of the sick on request. Sacrament of Holy Communion every First
Friday.. Sacrament of Baptism: 5pm on the First Saturday of the month in Ss. Peter & Pauls, third Saturday in the Resurrection.
Sacrament of Marriage: Consult with one of the Priests to secure a date. Church and State Require at least 3 months notice.
Masses Peter and Pauls: Vigil:7.30pm Sun:11am and 12.30pm. Weekly 1pm
Masses Church of Resurrection:
Sunday:10.00am. Weekly 9.30am.

Monthly Medjugorje Mass: The monthly Medjugorje Mass will take place at Rosminian House of Prayer, Kilsheelan on Thursday 9th June at 8pm with Rosary, Holy Mass and Prayers for Healing.

Tax Refund
We continue to thank those who have returned the forms. Just to re-iterate there is no cost or liability on the parishioner taking part in this scheme. Everything is based on contributions you have already made. The weekly envelopes and the Christmas, Easter and Autumn collection envelopes allow us to record donations for the purpose of claiming back tax. If you feel that you would like to help the Parish in this way please request a box of Envelopes at any time.

Appeal by Br. Brian Johnson will take place at Masses this weekend.

Secular Franciscan Order Annual Pilgrimage to Knock, Sunday 26th June. Cost €42 includes Evening Meal.

Midsummer Concert: On Friday 10th June at 8pm, Cuan Saor Women’s Refuge will be holding a Midsummer
Concert in St Mary’s Church, Irishtown. Programme includes, St Mary’s Choir, The Gordonaires, Banna Cluain Meala, Cor Eaglis Choir and Soloist Yvonne Murphy. Tickets are €10 and are available from Premier Music and Marians Bookshop. O’’Connell Street.

STAC ART & CRAFT Summer Camps for children ages 5 up and for young people & teens  from 11 up to 14 years  will be run  for the month of  July, starting each Tuesday. €65 per week. Booking  with Deposit of €20 now open at 0526127877 as places are limited because of our smaller venue.

Relics of St Anthony of Padua

Monday 6th June evening Mass for our young people doing exams 7.30pm. Tuesday 7th June evening Mass of healing and anointing 7.30pm
Wednesday 8th June Mass of St Anthony and blessing of medals 7.30pm. Thursday 9th June Relics arriving for 12 noon Mass Veneration of Relics all day Evening Mass at 7.30pm. Day Care carpark reserved for disabled parking only. Drop off point at front of Church. General parking behind Church and GAA grounds.

This weekend, there will be a national collection for the World Meeting of Families in which it is hoped Pope Francis will attend, which takes place in Dublin in 2018. Your support is greatly appreciated.

The annual grotto mass at Edel Quinn Shrine, Old Bridge, Clonmel will take place on Bank Holiday Monday 6th June at 11am.

We would like to wish all the children in our Parish who are doing exams the very best of luck. It’s a difficult time but stay calm!!! There will be a list at Our Lady’s Altar to add the names of those who are doing exams and who will be included in our prayers.
Dear Lord, As I take this exam, bring back to my mind everything I studied
and be gracious with what I have overlooked.
Help me to remain focussed and clam, confident in the facts and in my ability,
and firm in the knowledge that no matter what
happens today you are there with me.  Amen

A major Parade will take place in Clonmel this Bank Holiday Monday, 6th June in conjunction with the
unveiling of a Monument honouring the 43 Clonmel Volunteers who mobilized during Easter Week 1916. The Parade will depart from Irishtown at 2.30 arriving at the Borstal Gate Emmet St where the Monument will be unveiled. Your support for this historic event would be greatly appreciated.

World Youth Day 2016 You are invited to join the Diocese of Waterford & Lismore on what promises to be a wonderful pilgrimage of faith, discovery and sheer enjoyment.
