Christmas Collection: Envelopes are available for distributors in the Crying Room Office. Collection will be taken up at Christmas Masses. For those who have not received an envelope, envelopes will be available at Church entrances. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Carol Service: Our Carol Service went very well last Sunday. Thanks to Banna Cluain Meala and conductor Peter Taylor, to the Banna committee who prepared and arranged the seats on the Altar for the Banna musicians, to our Senior Choir, accompanied by Eileen Murray and conducted by Mary Adamson and Jane Kennedy, to our St. Mary’s boys choir under the guidance of Mary Adamson, our readers, Charlotte Keane and Fr. Pat Hayes. The whole evening was a great spiritual experience and helped us to focus on the true meaning of Christmas.
Dome and Cross Collection: Thank you so much for all the donations after the Carol Service. We collected €1100 towards the Dome and Cross repairs. You were all so generous and we really appreciate it. Thank you to Bridie O’Dwyer and Tony Murray for helping with the collection.
Wedding Bells: Congratulations to Evan Harvey, Inis-na-Managh and Roisín O’Sullivan, Powerstown who were married in the Nire Church last weekend. We wish them many years of married happiness and togetherness.
Car Treasure Hunt: There will be a Car Treasure Hunt on St Stephen’s Day, 26th December starting at 2pm at the Showgrounds Shopping Centre, Clonmel. Price per car is €20 in aid of the Carers Association. All welcome.
Raffle Tickets: There are still raffle tickets available in the Crying Room Office for the draw in aid of the Dome and Cross, prices include a Necklace donated by Rory O’Donohue, a Christmas Cake and more. The draw will take place after the 6.15pm Mass on Saturday 22nd December.
Birthday Wishes: Birthday wishes are extended to Eileen Murray who celebrated a significant milestone on her life’s journey last weekend.
