NEWS FLASH : Last chance to see STAG ‘s 50 th Anniversary Exhibition which ends this Saturday in the Co. Museum, Clonmel at 4. 45 p.m. ! Museum Opening Hours 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday . Admission FREE.
To coincide with the closing of this unusual and exciting 50th Anniversary Art Exhibition in the Co. Museum, Clonmel, on Saturday next 20thOctober, STAG and the Co. Museum will hold a `Meet the Artists ‘ event which will take place from 1 p.m. with John Kennedy Artist and Liza Keane , Florist, Moss and Mushroom, who will both give a short talk each on their respective artwork. After light refreshments for everyone John will conduct a drawing class which is open to the public. Cost is €5, payable at the Museum on Saturday but booking is essential for numbers . Many Thanks to Marie and Staff in the Co. Museum , for inviting STAG’s present adult artists and many former Junior Art members who are now professionals in the Art and Craft industry all over the world, to submit artwork, photos and articles for this Exhibition which has been a resounding success. STAG would like to encourage our present Junior Art Group, both Primary section and the Seniors to bring along their parents and siblings, relations, teachers and friends to see the exhibition before Saturday as perhaps some of these Junior STAG members will, one day, like the former Junior STAG Members exhibiting in this Exhibition , become professionals in the Arts and Craft Industry at home or abroad!
On Saturday morning the Junior Art Group ( Primary and Seniors) will meet as usual at 10. 30 p.m. in the Art Room, Infant School, St. Peter and Paul’s Primary School, Kickham St., Clonmel for repainting last year’s Pumpkins and making some new Artwork for the Tesco Roundabout. Please wear old clothes!
