Junior STAG Art Membership is now closed for this Spring Art session. The Art Session will resume on Saturday at 10. 30 a.m. in the Art Rooms, Infant School, St. Peter and Paul’s Primary School, Kickham St., Clonmel after the unexpected snowy break last Saturday.
The 1st of STAG’s 50th Anniversary Celebration Exhibitions in the Craft Granary, Cahir was a great success with some paintings sold. This Exhibition will close on Sat. Next 10th March at 1 p.m. At the moment Adult Art members are very busy painting new artworks for the 2nd of STAG’s 50th Anniversary Art Exhibitions which will run from 19th March to the end of April in the Library, Carrick on Suir,thanks to Maura Barrett, Librarian, for facilitating STAG. Former members are invited to rejoin STAG for this 50th Anniversary Year, on either Tuesday nights in the venue above or on Wednesday mornings in the Arts Centre, Clonmel. There are 5 more Exhibitions being planned during this very important year for STAG and it would be great to have former members’ artworks on display as well as current members’ paintings,photography and mixed media work.
STAG is participating in St. Patrick’s Day Parade because of our 50th Anniversary so it is hoped all members , Junior and Adult , if at all possible, will join in with us in the preparations and in the parade itself . Contact the Organiser for details.
