Junior STAG membership is now full in both the Primary 9 9 years to 6th class) and Senior( 1st years to Leaving Cert.) sections . A waiting list is in operation for the next session which starts on the 11th November for a 5 week run. Contact the Organiser, Maureen Purcell for bookings.
Tuesday nights 7. 30 p.m. for the Artists in Adult STAG in the Art Room Infant School behind St. Peter and Paul’s Primary School is slowly filling up but the Art Sessions on Wednesday morning in the Arts Centre, Clonmel is nearly full. The criteria for joining Adult STAG is to have a knowledge of drawing or painting or to have one or two art courses done as we don’t use a tutor at our weekly sessions .However there is a comprehensive Art Library there and art members are always on hand to give advice if required. Adult STAG members’ artwork is on display and for sale in Mr. Bumbles Restaurant, Befani’s Restaurant, My Café Restaurant and in the Outpatient’s corridor in Tipperary General Hospital, all in Clonmel or contact the Organiser at 0868096823 for any information. Watch out for a new Facebook page very soon as we prepare for STAG’s 50th Anniversary next year! STAG would be delighted to hear from any former members and to get old STAG photos also.
