Calling all former Adult and Junior STAG Art Members. We are looking for any photos, memorabilia, artwork and anecdotes relating to STAG over the past 49 years for inclusion in a book that is being prepared for Adult STAG’s 50th Anniversary which occurs in 2018. Everything will be photographed and returned in perfect condition and stories will be recorded for use in one of STAG’s many Exhibitions in 2018. We are also looking for names, addresses, phone nos. and approx. dates as to membership also from both sections even though the Juniors have a few more years to go for their 50th anniversary!
STAG’s Wednesday mornings in the Arts Centre, Nelson St., Clonmel will start up again this Wednesday 20th Sept. from 10. 30 to 12. 30 a.m. Please text the Organiser at 0868096823 if you intend to avail of this extra session . Our normal night sessions for Adult artists continues on Tuesday nights in the Art Room, Infant School, behind St. Peter and Paul’s Primary School, Kickham St., Clonmel and members are welcome to attend both sessions if they wish at no extra cost. We expect great attendance from the Adult members from now on as we will have 4 Exhibitions to get artwork prepared for and several art outings and painting holidays organised for next year!
Junior STAG is now full. A waiting list is in operation so please contact the Organiser for inclusion in the next session which is from midterm in November to December 2017. We run two art classes on Saturday mornings, the Primary Group from 9 years to 6th class and the Seniors from 1st years to Leaving Certs.
