The Junior Section of the South Tipperary Art Group would like to acknowledge the financial assistance, through Community & Arts grants from the Arts Office, Tipperary Co. Council, for the Craft and Textile workshops that have taken place over the last 6 months with Professional Crafts and Textile Tutors, Elke Wilson, and Lesley Lynch.. Great work was done by the 19 Primary Section members( ages 9 years to 6th class) and the 17 Senior Group members(1st year to Leaving Certs.) There will be a display of the student’s Artwork in January in one of the shop windows in Clonmel.
Both Junior Sections , Primary and Senior, of the South Tipperary Art Group, STAG are closing for the Christmas holidays on Sat. next at 12 noon. They’ve had a very creative time in Junior STAG over the last several months and some of their Artwork will be on display in the foyer in the Arts Centre, Nelson St., Clonmel from January as well as in one of the closed down shops in Clonmel.
The Adult Art Group will return on Tuesday 10th January 2017 at 7. 30 p.m. to the Art Room, Infant School, St. Peter and Paul’s Primary school, Kickham St., Clonmel Original Paintings by Adult Art members are on display & for sale in Befani’s Restaurant, Mr. Bumbles Restaurant, Showgrounds Shopping Centre, My Café and The Outpatients Corridor in Tipperray General Hospital, all in Clonmel and in Lily Mai’s Café, Dove Hill, Carrick On Suir. .
