Sandybanks facility
Work is well in hand on the kayaking facility at Sandybanks as part of the river Suir Blue way. The slipway and steps have been poured and finished. Work is progressing on the landing quay and the hand railing. Mooring rings and all the little bits and bobs needed to finish the facility are underway and soon the builders fencing will be removed and everything tidied up. When all is completed the village committee will meet with the county council to agree a schedule of minor works to finish the green area and the bottle bank. All ideas welcome and please come forward with ideas.
Steady hand wanted
The Village need a steady hand attached to a paint brush to tidy up the village signage. If you have a steady hand and are good at painting we need the existing village signs cleaned primed re painted.
