Annual Churchgate Collection: Gorta Self Help Africa will be holding their annual Churchgate Collection in Clonmel on 27th and 28th August.
Marlfield News: The work of erecting the final four Marlfield Heritage Trail signs has started and the frames have to be set in concrete to ensure stability. When done the trail will have twelve areas of interest with signage and wall plaques detailing the particular subject.
The heavy gang were in action in Marlfield burial grounds on Saturday morning and with three mowers going full out they made short work of it. The new mowers were in action and the result was a lovely finish all done in dry conditions and home in time for lunch. Well done lads.
Discussion: A discussion on Heaven & Assumption of Our Lady will take place on Sunday 14th August at the Pastoral Centre, Irishtown. 7pm to 8pm, followed by a tea break. All are welcome.
