Ministry to the Sick/ Nursing Homes : Mass at Melview Nursing Home. Sacrament of anointing of the sick on request. Sacrament of Holy Communion every First Friday.
Sacrament of Baptism: 5pm on the First Saturday of the month in Ss. Peter & Pauls and on the third Saturday in the Church of the Resurrection.
Sacrament of Marriage: Consult with one of the Priests to secure a date. Church and State Require at least 3 months notice.
Pre-Marriage Course: It is strongly recommended to

Friary Notes
The Sacrament of Anointing is available every First Friday after the Gospel at the 10am Mass.
The S.F.O. Monthly Meeting and Mass takes place on the 2nd Wed of every month. Refreshments after in the Friary Hall. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament is on the 1st Saturday of Every Month.

Padre Pio Healing Night Holy Family Mission invites you to a Padre Pio Healing Night in S.S. Peter and Paul’s Church, on Friday the 28th of February 2020. Led by Fr. John Mockler, the event begins at 7pm. The night will include, Rosary, Healing Mass, Testimonies and blessing with St. Pio Relic. All are welcome.
Alpha Review: A review of the Alpha course which occurred in the Clonmel parishes area from September/December will be held on Wednesday 26th February at 7.30pm in the Church of the Resurrection Hall. All those who took part are invited to attend, to review how it went, and to plan for the next Alpha in the Clonmel area after Easter. We look forward to catching up again.
Active Retirement: The next meeting will be on Thursday 27th February 2020 in Place4U at 3pm.

Parenting When Separated Programme.
This free 6 week course is open to parents from all backgrounds and all walks of life that are going through or have gone through a separation or divorce and is suitable for mothers and fathers of children of all ages. Topics include:
Solving co-parenting problems in a positive way that focus on the needs of the children.
Cope with the emotional impact of separation and learn stress management techniques.
Help your children cope with the impact of the separation both emotionally and practically.
Enhance communication with your children and with your children’s other parent.

The theme of IEC2020 is “All My Springs are in You”. It is taken from Psalm 87. Signposts on the Road to Emmaus “Exploring the Mass”
Beginning on Thursday 5th March, over four weeks during Lent, we will place ourselves in the story of the Road to Emmaus, giving participants a renewed understanding of the Mass we celebrate.
Session One “ We gather in the footsteps of Christ “ we will explore the gathering rite.
Session Two “ Christ speaks to us in the Scriptures today “ we will explore the Liturgy of the Word.
Session Three “ Christ is our Host” we will explore the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
Session Four “ We are sent to become what we have received “ we will explore the dismissal rite.
Each evening will begin at 7.30pm in the hall at the Church of the Resurrection and will be facilitated by Mary Dee, Diocesan Liturgy Office. All are welcome.

I will pray for these men tonight and every night. ”These words of Gordon Wilson echoed across the world in 1987, just hours after his 20-year-old daughter Marie was killed in an IRA bomb in Enniskillen. Very few words in the history of the Northern Ireland conflict had such a powerful impact. His extraordinary capacity to forgive the people who had caused him so much pain helped to move along the slow process.”
Gordon Wilson was the personification of the words of Jesus: love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. ”It is one of the most difficult and challenging passages in the Gospels; one commentator calls it “Jesus” most unreasonable command.” Living under oppressive Roman rule, with torture and murder not uncommon, the disciples knew what it was to hate their enemies. As we read and listen to the news today, the cruelty of people continues to astound and upset us. But Jesus reminds us that everyone is human. All are children of God, who “causes his sun to rise on bad men as well as good.” While we clearly don’t accept or excuse the terror and evil in the world, we cannot dehumanise those who carry out despicable actions. It is much easier said than done, but we must strive to meet hatred with love. With God, there is always forgiveness; there is always hope.
