Shambles; a total state of disorder
Exhibition Launch
Thursday 31st January
6pmThis is an exhibition of recent and current work by local artist printmaker Aoife Barrett.  It explores a never ending urge to create order and routine in our daily lives.
Aoife’s practice revolves around repetition and a cycle of construction and destruction, altering and re-altering, breaking things down to their basic elements.  She re-uses and recycles materials, objects and buildings in an attempt to give them meaning and order.  Aoife makes prints from structures and builds structures from prints.
