AGM
The annual general meeting of the Marlfield Village Committee takes on Monday evening the 9thMay in St Patrick’s Chapel at 8pm. The AGM is an open meeting and anyone who wishes to attend can do so and contribute to the business of the evening. Please inform others of time, date and venue.
Joe Burke Memorial Walk
The final arrangements are being made and the important details are. Walk starts from the roundabout at 2.30pm and will include the 7 main historical and environmental lectern signs. There will be a cup of tea or coffee and some buttered brack and biscuits in St Patrick’s Chapel afterwards. There is no subscription charge and everyone is welcome to our first memorial walk. Woven Fence
The work on the woven fence starts this week at the new wild flower garden and our lads have been trained by our local crafts woman Nuala who willingly gave of her time and skills for the village.
