I renew my baptismal promises renouncing Satan and all his works and pomps. I promise to lead a good Christian life and to do all in my power to procure the triumph of the rights of God and Your Church. Divine Heart of Jesus, I offer You my poor actions in order to obtain that all hearts may acknowledge Your sacred royalty and that thus the reign of Your peace may be established throughout the universe. Dear Parishioner,
Many people have been impressed by the character and holiness of Fr. Colm O’Brien who died in 2009 at the age of 36. The question of promoting his Cause for beatification and canonisation has arisen. In order to move this project forward, there will be a gathering in the Minella Hotel, Clonmel, on 28th November at 7.30 pm to discuss the life of Fr. Colm and how he influenced many lives. Anyone interested in the possible promotion of his Cause for the beatification and canonisation is invited, especially the faithful of the parishes most associated with Colm.
Yours in Christ, Bishop Alphonsus Cullinan
