Adoration Apostolate: On Tuesdays—Adoration day in the Parish, people come before the Lord with different emotions. Some find it a joy, to take a few moments away from the busy world, to reflect and spend some time with Jesus’ presence; and gain the strength to cope with what life can throw at us.
Sanctuary Candle: Each week two candles are lit at either side of the Tabernacle for the intentions of the donors. Anyone wishing to contribute or who would like to have a candle lighting for the week, contact Phylis Brett, Sacristy or Parish Office.
2nd Collection on St Patrick’s Day : will be taken up for Emigrants.
Mass for Prayer Groups: There will be a Mass on Monday 27th March in the Cathedral in Waterford at 5.30pm. This Mass is especially for all prayer groups in the Diocese.
Eucharistic Ministers Meeting: Training and reflection for all current and new Ministers for the Eucharist takes place on Tuesday night 28th March in St Oliver’s Parish Centre at 7.30pm. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Lent in our Parish:
As well as usual scheduled Masses 7.45am and 10am there will be evening Mass on Monday , Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 7pm.
Stations of the Cross and Benediction will be celebrated on Tuesday evenings at 7pm.
Morning Prayer will be prayed each day at 10am Mass.
Bingo: Every Sunday night there is Bingo in our Parish Hall. It has been running for well over thirty years and is one of the main fundraising events in our Parish. It is a chance to win some cash. It is also a great social gathering. It’s future depends on your support. We thank you for your great support down through the years. We thank the very loyal and committed group of volunteers who run the Bingo every Sunday evening. Spread the word about our Bingo, tell your friends about it. All very welcome.
Welcome: We welcome into the Christian Faith Community of St Mary’s, Kellyanne Catherine Conran who was christened last week. We congratulate her parents Colm and LIzanne, godparents, grandparents and extended family.
First Penance: Congratulations to the boys and girls from the Gaelscoil who celebrated their first Penance last Wednesday night.
