Welcome: We welcome into the Christian Faith Community of St Mary’s, Mikayla Louise Meaney who was christened last weekend. We congratulate her parents Philip and Denise, godparents, grandparents and extended family.
Glencomeragh House: The Rosminian Order handed over Glencomeragh House to the Diocese last summer. It will continue as a centre of retreat and prayer. It is also being developed as a centre for Evangelization for young people. There are 10 young adults who have taken a gap year to study the Faith and deepen their understanding of it in Glencomeragh at present. The official launch of Glencomeragh as a Diocesan centre takes place next Friday, 2nd December at 7.30pm in Glencomeragh. The launch will be performed by the Papal Nuncio, Archbishop Charles Brown.
Morning Mass: Advent: During Advent at the 10am Mass we will have a shortened ‘Morning Prayer’ integrated with the Mass. It will be just one of our ways of preparing for Christmas.
Cemetery Visitations:
Sunday 27th November—Shanavine. St Mary’s Church 3.00pm.
First Sunday of Advent: The Sunday readings will be from Cycle A. The Gospel of St Matthew will be used. The weekday readings will be from Cycle 1.
