Easter Ceremonies: Easter is the highpoint of the Church’s Liturgical Year. All are welcome to join us in our celebrations. We would love to see you joining our faith – family of St Mary’s during these days. If you have given up on the Church, become alienated or grown somewhat lukewarm, maybe this Easter in the Year of Mercy might be the occasion to re-ignite the embers of your faith. Whatever your position or experience you are more than welcome. In this Year of Mercy, the door is always open and accommodating.

24 hours for the Lord: Pope Francis has called for a 24 hrs for the Lord, during the Year of Mercy. To respond to this call there will be confessions available all day from 10.30am to 5.30pm in three centres in the Diocese, St Mary’s Clonmel, St Mary’s Dungarvan and Cathedral, Waterford. The day chosen in our Diocese is Saturday 19th March.

Pioneers: South Tipperary Regional Council PTAA are holding their annual retreat on Palm Sunday 20th March at the Presentation Convent Chapel. 2pm – 6pm. All welcome.

Easter Envelopes: The Easter envelopes are now available in the Crying Room office for all envelope distributors. If you do not currently receive an envelope but would like to, please see Maria in the Crying Room office, who will add you to the distribution list.

Trocaire Boxes: Please remember to bring in Trocaire Boxes on Holy Thursday. Trocaire is the Irish Churches response to helping Third World countries and promoting a safer environment in the world.

Holy Places: The collection for the maintenance and preservation of the Holy Places (sites associated with life and death of Jesus) in Jerusalem and the Holy Land will be taken up at all services on Good Friday.

Easter Collection for Priests of Parish and Diocese: Collection will be taken up at all Masses on Easter Saturday night and Easter Sunday. Your support and continued affirmation is much appreciated.

Donations: Thanks to the choir who gave a cheque for €1000 towards restoration of the organ. It was the proceeds of a Pub Quiz. Thanks also to Careys Pub for their donation of €200 , the proceeds of Christmas Raffle.
